technical solutions for document, financial and payment processing. Headquartered in
South Yorkshire and have a global client base, including FTSE 100 firms, major utility
providers, leading telecoms operators, manufacturers and local authorities.

About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the team which maintains and evolves our overall IT function.

What you will do

  • Responsible for a team who runs and monitors all installed systems, infrastructure & Networks

  • Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools

  • Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

  • Increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

  • Hands on support of the support teams

  • Manage vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

You will bring

  • A minimum of 3 years experience–including Infrastructure-in an IT Engineer role, demonstrate solid grasp of the above.

  • Experience of Service Desk, Infrastructure and Networks

  • Experience of application support

  • Experience of management of Service Desk, Infrastructure and Networks

  • Partner Management

  • Knowledge and experience of VMWare

  • Microsoft base knowledge/experience: AD, Windows, Windows Server,Exchange, SQL etc

  • .Net & C# an advantage

  • Experience in hardware SupportExcellent time leadership skills

  • Ability to prioritise workload in a changing environment

  • Work independently

  • Stakeholder management

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Work well under pressure
